Toothpaste?

What kind of toothpaste should I be using? We have been using this one that we got with his toothbrush but not sure if I should get one that has fluoride in it?

My pediatrician said it used to be no fluoride but now the recommendation is to use a very small pea size amount of fluoride toothpaste.

We Use this one which has very low fluoride (500 ppm) I’m in the uk though. Babies only need a very small amount of fluoride if any

Every country has different guidelines. I’m from Canada. We are brushing with water only until our son can spit toothpaste out (generally around 3 years of age) unless he has a high risk for tooth decay. We have fluoride in our tap water that is sufficient enough. Eliminating night time feedings, not putting your baby to bed with a bottle, drinking water in between meals ( like a sip lol) and brushing properly will all reduce the risk factors. You could always follow up with a dentist in your town and see what they recommend as again every country has different guidelines and different fluoride levels in drinking water.  This can be a very debatable topic lol.
