Bleeding for 38 days- please help
I’m a 16 y/o girl, and I’ve been having what I think is my period (or possibly spotting in between several periods) for 38 days. I started birth control (Norethindrone pills- progestin only pills) about 4 months ago in order to regulate my long, heavy, and irregular periods. I have a hormonal imbalance and my androgen levels are elevated, so that’s another reason why I started taking birth control pills. At one point I even tried to change to Mirena, but I had it removed after 2 weeks because of intense pain and bleeding. Since February 20, I have been bleeding, some days more lightly than others. Today the bleeding was heavy and with large blood clots. Because of coronavirus, I can’t go see a gynecologist because all the clinics are closed, but I read online that I could try to stop taking the pills for 5 days and see if the bleeding stops. I don’t know if I should do that, because it might do more harm than good. The last gynecologist I saw gave me a very vague answer and basically just told me there’s nothing I can do and ignored the issue. She did say I might have endometriosis, and some other doctors have mentioned that too. I don’t what to do, because I don’t want to keep bleeding and I can’t find anyone with the same issue online.
Thank you in advance, and all ideas are welcome.
