Nap regression?

Question

Is it normal around this age (13 months) for baby to start protesting naps? I got him down to one nap a day but it was a nice two hour one. Now he’s up in 30 minutes crying and refusing to be put back down. I need those 2 hours and he needs that rest. Will this pass? My other two children took naps (one still does) until they were 4/5. 1 year olds aren’t supposed to not take naps, right?

If he’s waking up after 30 minutes and he’s upset, he’s overtired. Bring back the morning nap, doesn’t sound like he was ready to drop it.

I have a 14 month old...she takes 1 45-70ish min nap a day and thats it. She dropped to 1 nap a day around 10-11 months. She sleeps through the night for the most part and isn't tired/grumpy/irritable and has an immense amount of energy during the day so it is just her stlye I guess haha. My mom said I was the same as a baby and stopped napping at 2.5-3 completly so we will see if little one follows suit.

Mine has been down to a 30 minute nap a day for a couple months. I wish she would nap longer but she’s not grumpy and sleeps through the night so I gave up 🤷🏻‍♀️
