Yeast infection

Hi ladies so recently I had a yeast infection Bc my ph was thrown off and I was super itchy but I’ve been doing this home remedy and it’s been helping me a lot, it’s not as itchy like before but the itch is still here and there. I’m getting my period in 3 days and I heard that when you get your period your ph balance raises.. should I still manage to take a trip to my gyn or just wait after I get my period?
