Question

Will I ever get over my abortion?  Every day I wish I could go back in time and never have it.  I know I made the right decision but it doesn’t make it any easier.  I keep grieving the baby I’ll never have.

I grieved for a year. Now, 6 years later, it’s just another part of my history. I’m thankful that I chose as I did.

I wish I knew the answer ! I’m not thinking about it everyday ... but sometimes out of the blue it hits you ! It’s been 2 years now for me ! I’m glad I did it under those circumstances I was in then ... but I loved that baby I just didn’t want it to suffer because of my poor choices

I don’t think I’ll ever get over it, or ever be done grieving. It’s been almost a year since mine and I keep reliving it, I still cry and get to a really dark place. I’m hypersensitive to the word and people who talk or joke about it. I hope one day it will get less but for now, no x

in my experience everyday it's easier! i rarely think about it now and if i do i'm grateful i had the choice and i'm happy where i am! sometimes there is still sadness and the thoughts of what ifs and even the grief but everyday, it is easier. take your time to grieve. don't force anything. abortion sucks and everyone deals differently. you will have a baby one day at a time where you're ready and sure! you'll be okay!
