I’m late

So I just recently started on the pill this month(March 8th start day) and according to the app my period was supposed to start a few days ago and according to my birth control I’m on the pills that you take during the week of your period. Is it normal to be a few days off when you start birth control or should I be worried? (I have a fairly normal cycle which is why I’m worried)
