Developmental questions

So I have two questions ...

1. I see a lot of people on here saying they sit and play with their babes. Am I the only one who has a baby who has no interest in toys?! All she wants to do is crawl around, open up cabinets, rip things off shelves, climb on furniture, etc. if I try to sit with her and play it lasts one minute. Same goes for reading books - she slams the book shut and crawls away 😧

2. Have your babes mastered Sippy cups yet? At her 9 month appointment the doc said we should be offering it all the time so we can wean off bottles at 1. She is struggling with all types of Sippy cups!! (Straw, spout, munchkin 360) she knows how to get the water but then she chokes every single time.
