Can i lose weight JUST by cutting back calories? (Read first before voting)
So i used to eat about 2000-2400 cals a day and in attempts to lose weight i cut back my calories to 1000-1400 a day. I eat decently in the day so my usual day for food is i wake up a drink my coffee which keeps me full until about 2pm. Then i have 1 piece of toast with either tuna or eggsald on it. For dinner i have something different each day but in total it usually adds up to about 800 cals after dinner. I usually splurge and will eat half a bag of chips or a whole bag of popcorn which brings me up to my 1000-1300 calories😬 im still in my calorie range but im not fully eating clean. Will this stop me from losing weight?
Also just to add this has always been a problem of mine even before dieting. I just feel so guilty right now for doing it. I want to get out of the habit and not eat past 7 or 8pm. I never crave junk in the day but when night hits I literally cant stop thinking about it for a second. I would love to go to sleep as soon as those feelings hit but i have some pretty severe sleeping problems as well and I usually cant sleep until 2/3am so my mind will just flood with the cravings for hours🥺 how do i help myself because im rlly starting to hate myself for my body and food habits im just disgusting
