Period returned 6 weeks post MMC - tissue?

I just got my period 6 weeks after having a MMC and D&C and have been passing tissue, some that looked like a fetus. Is that even possible? It’s not a blood clot. 
Last year when I had a mmc and it passed naturally my next period was easy. This has been so painful. Last year I passed tissue a week after that looked like a fetus, but this is 6 weeks. I’m feeling a bit traumatized.

It might have been a bit of missed sac tissue. It depends what it looks like. I had lots of large thick clots that almost looked like liver meat. I also had several lots of pale tissue and they were quite painful as the passed. I had this before and after the ‘main’ miscarriage of the sac& contents. If it were baby I think you would definitely know. Would be about an inch long, with limbs and eyes. It is very distinguishable. It is likely just missed tissue from d&c
