PCOS... Clomid... Feel broken :(

I am 25 and was diagnoised with PCOS in January 2014... I was given 50mg of clomid to help me ovulate, so this is my first cycle!... I had a progestrone blood test a few days ago and just got a call from my doc saying I didn't work.. I didnt ovulate :( He said if I'm late (more than 28 day cycle) I can go to 100mg otherwise have to do 50mg again (which feels like another waste of a month!!... Just feel broken :(
