I went in to get an US yesterday at 5 weeks 2 days. They said I was measuring 5 weeks 4 days, but that there was an empty sac. No yolk sac. The gestational sac was 8mm. The ultrasound tech told me it looks like a blighted ovum. The doctor told me to come back in 2 weeks to see. Well, now today I am having period type cramps 😪 I'm of course holding out hope for this pregnancy. If the unthinkable does happen, that'd be our 2nd blighted ovum in a row. Our 1st was this past November. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after more than 1 blighted ovum? I just don't know why our babies aren't developing 😭
