Mil helping

My mil offered to help with cleaning or putting away things or cooking. She's 66, and retired very healthy and active, but regardless elderly. I accept her offer and let her make a meal or two a week I'm 37 weeks now. I need help with cleaning because I can't bend over and or climb the stool, she offered to help me with that but I think it might be too much on her too. For example cleaning the tub, and fixing the kitchen cabinets. Should I let her or just force my husband to do it?
