I work at walmart. They are offering a leave for the virus(job protected, but unpaid) i decided to take it after going through my income and my SO getting a job at walmart as a temp after being laid off so i can stay home and him still have income. I also reduced my hours for when i go back in 2-4 weeks(we start with two if it isn’t better we can extend 2 more weeks) so i wont be there that much as much. By then our glass guards should be installed to keep the distance from the customers which makes me feel better. Working in customer service will be like working in my own little cubical with one other co worker 6 weeks down) my boss isnt happy i decided to do it im one of his go to workers and i hate having to do it and i get his stress because i know how to do everything in the front end, and he’s really short on employees because their also taking the leave, but baby comes first. 24 weeks Friday and i just want to stay healthy.
