Does your pet sleep with you?

Our pup has always slept with us but since moving, getting a new bed and an expensive comfortable set he’s been sleeping in his crate, door is open and he is in our room still. I just feel bad 😩 he sheds so much also and hate my bed being full of dog hair 🙄

In all seriousness, no. Not anymore. I have terrible allergies and it was a pain in the ass keeping the bed sheets clean. We trained the dogs to sleep on their dog beds on the floor. We are all much happier and we all get better sleep!

I have two dogs. They used to sleep with us. But we got a new bed & comforter and they just shed way too damn much. 😂 they are in their cage at night now.

My cat does sometimes, but my dog, German Shepherd, isn’t allowed on the bed because he sheds too much. We got him a dog bed and he sleeps on that right next to our bed.

Our cats slept with us for the first almost three years of their lives. We just bought a house and have restricted areas that they can use. The carpeted second floor bedrooms, laundry room, carpeted basement and master bedroom are off limits and they’ve never set foot in these rooms so they don’t know what they’re missing... but they’re curious and will sniff at the doors to these areas. The first month was tough because our female will cry until she’s let into an area (that was the case in our apartment). She no longer cries and they don’t try to get into our room or areas that are restricted.

We've got four dogs and three cats. My one dog sleeps on the bed always. Our one dog will join if she's cold or scared (weather). Our other dog will also join only if the weather is bad. Our fourth dog will rarely join, we have to have REALLY bad weather for her to want to sleep on the bed.
We also pretty much always have at least one cat in the bed. Often two. In winter one of our cats sleeps under the blanket even. Our third cat was a formal feral so she NEVER sleeps with us.
