So I’m stumped, I had already had my sons first birthday cake being made by someone that’s been doing it for 15 years but now cuz of this virus, should I cancel or still have her make it?

Already postponing the party but I still wanna give my son a cake to eat on his actual birthday! This girl has a kid of her own and a husband that is a healthcare worker so she’s already taking precautions of not seeing her husband until this goes away. But would this still be ok to get the cake from her that she’d make in a month!

I think it would probably be safe. But my husband made cupcakes for us for our first son’s birthday. His favorite food was blueberries so he made blueberry cupcakes, and they were delicious. He’s going to do the same for this baby, not sure of the type yet. Babies don’t care either way lol my 3 year old’s favorite “cupcake” is a banana muffin I make.

I feel like it would be fine as long as the husband isn't in contact. But on the other hand I feel like I would probably just make the cake at home for safety reasons. We haven't postponed or canceled our daughters just yet since the party hall hasn't said anything
