I’m trying to plan some classic novels to read aloud to my children and wondered what age would be a good age to introduce The Little House on the Prairie series. I would be reading it to them so their actual reading ability at the time wouldn’t be an issue and I would be right there to explain anything they didn’t understand, but I am more so wondering what maturity level they need to be at to enjoy it. I read them as a child and remember loving them, but I don’t remember what age I first started reading them at.
