My little boy is 11weeks and stares at me eat. When do you normally start to feed your babies gerber?

i’m gonna go ahead and completely disagree with everyone commenting, especially those saying to wait until 6 months. if you choose to wait until a certain time, wait no longer than 4 months. but it’s important to know that exposing your baby to even just tastes of things very early on greatly reduces the chances your baby will have allergies!! my youngest is 11 weeks and has tastes of a variety of things daily. he absolutely loves it, and it’s good for him. there’s literally no downside. obviously do research and decide what you’re comfortable with, but know that it’s okay whenever you and your baby are ready! 😊

When ever the pediatrician says its okay to. Some say 4 months start with cereal and by 6 months you are starting fruits and vegetables. But follow the guidence of your pediatrician. Some babies arent ready til after 6 months. Some are ready before the four month mark. But on a nutrition stance its around 6 months

It’s not recommended until 4-6 months depending on doctors. The reasons it’s not recommended before then is because of choking hazards, the baby isn’t ready or studies show starting too early leads to obesity.

I'm not going to lie I started way before then was just letting baby taste the food I would put it on his tongue. Baby I started giving him baby food at 2 month mark well halfway through because he started watching me eat. Just to try it out and he loves it. He'll be 3 months April 18.
