Would you try to find a new OBGYN over this?
I had a miscarriage in June and when I went for a follow up, they made sure to do an ultrasound as well as blood work. I’ve been noticing changes in my cycles so I went back to the same doctor in January, where they took more blood work and another ultrasound. A nurse told me that if anything looked concerning, I would hear from him. I still felt something wasn’t right so I ended up calling back a couple weeks ago. Because of the virus, he called me today instead where he tells me that he compared the ultrasound of my ovaries from last summer to just a few months ago and told me that “he’s not surprised I’m not ovulating” because “my ovaries look bad” and wants to do more exams, ultrasounds, and possibly fertility meds. I told the nurse that this was a concern of mine but she told me that I would be having worse if that was the case. So why would he wait so long to tell me about this, only after I specifically make another appointment? And why would the nurse tell me that’s not what it is?
