Question!!!

My ovulation day is the 5th I’ve been trying for a baby for awhile now I had a pregnancy test last month that had a faint line on it but other tests I took we’re negative I ended up being 11 days late for my period then I started the next day I was just wondering is it better to have sex before that day or on the day of your ovulation???
