Able to video tape in ultrasound room?

This Friday is my 18 week anatomy scan and we’ll be able to find out the gender but husband isn’t allowed into the room nor the hospital due to the corona virus!! 😔 this is our first baby together and I wanted to record it the entire time so he can watch when I’m done. Am I allowed or strictly no?

I was able to at my hospital but definitely ask. I'm sure they'll understand.

When I went for my ultrasound last Thursday, my ultrasound tech told me she’ll leave a little video on the screen for me to record so I can show my hubby!! Hope you’re able to at least take a clip for him! Congrats 🥰🥰

Definitely ask. I asked once so I could show my husband who was working during my appt. I told her I just wanted to record the screen up on the wall that is positioned for mom to see the ultrasound. She was totally fine with it. It’s difficult times for everyone, your tech/facility should be understanding and allow you to record just the screen that is for patient viewing

You need to ask. On my hospitals website it says clearly in bold and red, that no taking photos or videos during us is allowed.

It depends on the office and tech doing the ultrasound usually. They might bend the rules because of the virus though.

Most don’t allow it; but under these circumstances it won’t hurt to just ask.
