Want to adopt but can’t afford it..

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2yrs. Did 3 rounds of clomid, no ovulation and of course no pregnancy. My husband and I want to adopt but I honestly can’t afford it. We both have stable jobs and have so much love to give. We’re considering becoming foster parents but honestly feel like I would get too attached for them to end up leaving. Has anyone adopt? How did you do it?
