Hey guys,

So hear me out. What I’m gonna say is gonna sounds silly but I need some advice.

I started on Kyleena (IUD) in December, so it’s been about 4 months since insertion. Since then my periods have been much lighter and later in the month than normal. My cycle before birth control was super regular.

I’m currently 9 days late on my period. I’m cramping and have white discharge. I’ve never been this late before. From my research it says periods stop around the 1 year mark when using Kyleena. I’m also a virgin.

I have been sexually active, and precum could have come in contact with my vulva, no ejaculate though. I know pregnancy is ~technically~ possible, but given the circumstances I don’t think so.

However, the coronavirus has been super stressful for me personally. I lost my job, I had to move out from my dorm, finals moved online, my uncle is immunocompromised, and I’m not gonna see my boyfriend for an indefinite amount of time.

Has anyone noticed any changes in their cycle due to coronavirus stress? Or experienced cycle disruptions due to ANY stress? And if you were on Kyleena, when did your period stop?

I’m a pre-health student. I logically know the chance of me being pregnant is crazy crazy small but it doesn’t stop my mind from running wild so please keep comments nice—I’ve taken sex ed. I’m in college. I’m educated.
