Repeat ultrasound?

Has anyone else been sent back for a repeat? Apparently they need a better look at the heart, staying positive!

Me. More or less. They have a checklist for things they need to see during the anatomy scan and if they can’t see something properly, they gotta check again. Usually it’s nothing bad though. It’s just to make sure they saw everything in detail.
In my case, they wanna check out the heart again cause baby was squirming too much and the separate chambers weren’t fully visible. I didn’t get another appointment for it though. They noted it down as something that should be checked at our next well being check in 4 weeks

I go back on the 14th for a level 2 ultrasound because baby have a choroid plexus cyst on her brain

Yes, with my first pregnancy. They said all this stuff could be wrong with my son and I went back for a couple ultrasounds. Most of it cleared up. Now I have a thriving, perfectly healthy almost 9 month old. Try not to stress! I know it’s easier said than done, but sometimes whatever they’re looking for goes away before the next ultrasound or when they’re born.

Me.. my fetal maternal medicine doctor told me everything looks great and normal but between 20-30 weeks the heart can develope a few defects so they need to recheck to make sure that didnt happen and if it did then come up with a game plan for after birth.

Yes I did to get a look at his kidneys... then another one to monitor the fluid on his kidneys.  Thank god it went away on its own

Yep.. had mine yesterday this morning was told I need to go next week for a more detailed scan with the high risk doctor because baby girl has a 2 vessel cord instead of a 3 vessel cord.. also my placenta was .2 cm lower than normal but they said that shouldn’t be too concerning at this point.

I just got told I need to go back because she saw some uncertainty in the ultrasound about if she has a clef lip or not... seriously worrying but hopefully everything is ok. It’s scary when they don’t give you straight answers

Me! I had mine Monday. Everything looked normal but they couldn't get a good enough look at her heart, so I go back in another week (it'll be 2 weeks after the first scan).

I go back for a repeat US at 24 weeks but with a fetal specialist in regards to a “bright spot” on baby’s heart. Dr said it could be his machine and more than likely is nothing major since there were no other soft markers but of course I’m paranoid. Lol. Good luck mommas ♥️
