Going crazy!

Y’all how are you keeping your May babes entertained?? my son is driving me NUTS. He’s climbing on everything, pulling diapers off shelf’s, banging toys against walls when my husband is trying to work. Lately he’s figured out how to climb behind the TV stand and likes to play with the cords.

He doesn’t like me playing with him very often, he’s incredibly independent and likes to figure things out on his own.

i tried sensory bins and he gets bored of them within 5 minutes so they’re more trouble than they’re worth.

We try music, hell ive even tried letting him watch TV. Nothing works for longer than 5 minutes. The only thing that he likes doing longer is being outside and it’s too cold for that right now so we can’t stay out too long or his little fingers get frozen.

I’m at a loss. I don’t know what else to do. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if he wasn’t finding ways to get into things that could potentially hurt him. I’ve tried keeping everything out of his reach but he somehow finds ways to play with everything he’s not supposed to.

Before this whole “stay home” thing we would go out when I could tell he was getting bored, just go wander the mall or to see his cousins or something, but we can’t do that now and I didn’t realize how much I needed that to survive.
