i’m a virgin and am planning on having sex soon with my bf. so i’ve got some questions. if i don’t pee after sex am i going to get a uti? when is too late to pee? also if i do get a uti what should i do?

You need to pee immediately (5-10 minutes is a good window) after sex and if using the bathroom is awkward because your partner is around, then maybe you’re not ready for sex. There is no reason your partner shouldn’t know you need to pee after sex and why.

I try to wee almost immediately after like the other lady said 5-10 is generally a good window of time afterwards to avoid getting a UTI but sometimes I can’t go after and I haven’t gotten a UTI from it, drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated and if you need to wee after go and if you don’t, don’t try to force yourself and don’t stress too much

I pee before and after sex. If you do have uti then go get it checked out and make sure you drink lots of water or cranberry juice and if you don’t like the juice version then get the pill version of it. Stay safe
