Started having some bladder pressure 2 days ago, nothing painful no discomfort, not really any pain urinating. Went to dr yesterday to get urine culture and get checked even though I felt better but then got home and peed and had some light pink blood when I wiped. Called dr, they put me on cephalexin. Took that two times yesterday as directed; woke up in the early morning with some pain in my side/ back I’m guessing where my kidneys are. Started out uncomfortable then got quite a bit painful. Put on a heating pad, ate and drank something, and took another dose of the antibiotic. Felt pretty immediate relief from the heating pad and maybe from the antibiotics and I’m feeling a lot better now, still a slight ache once in a while but mostly better. Should I call the dr today? Does it seem like I’m getting better? Any advice or similar experience would help. It just seemed weird I was feeling fine yesterday and then the pain would start up.
