Has anyone taken their 6 month old for their shots?

I’m scared to take my son for his 6 month shots because of that covid-19 going on. And I really don’t know if should since his immune system will be weak because of the vaccines. And If I do take him I’m going to have to keep him upstairs in his room and in the game until he gets better so he won’t be around anyone since 2 family member still go to work.

I was feeling the same way and we ended up choosing to go. We don’t know how long this situation will last and it’s important to protect our babies from other diseases too.

We are supposed to go on the 16th. I’m going to see what my doctor recommends at that point.

I think I plan on waiting until everything settles down.
Vaccines can wait in my opinion.

I just took him just before booked a first thing in the morning appointment doctor said his not 6months yet? I said yes 20/10/19 which makes him 24weeks he said on the 20th makes him 6months I said ohhhh , he said it’s ok to have it done 2weeks early , which I don’t mind because in Aus is not peak yet on the Coronavirus. I had to train mine mine that it is ok other wise I’d be more depressed then what I already am . Will get through this ❤️

We are going next week... 
Dr. Said to keep up on vaccines and well visits. No one knows how long we would have to wait.... 
We have a walk in clinic we have to walk by to get him there. Not thrilled by any means.

We went today. My pediatrician office has 3 locations so they only see sick kids at one location then healthy at the other two. Then you wait in your car once you get there then when they are ready for you they call and have you meet at the entrance. Once inside they check everyone’s temp.

We go next week and still plan on going. Will keep baby covered in her car seat and trust that the pediatricians office is sterilizing/wiping down every patient room thoroughly. Like someone said below we don’t know how long this virus will last and I wanna protect my LO from everything else I can.

I tried to schedule mine and they said they are not scheduling well visits until end of April. We have been hit pretty hard here by the virus (in New Orleans).
