Would you put a light blanket in your 11 month old’s crib?

I’m just looking for a little advice here. Our furnace isn’t working for some reason and it’s still getting down to about 30 degrees at night...so it’s been about 55 degrees in the house. We don’t have a sleep sack big enough for him. I know the recommendation is 12 months, but does a month really make that much of a difference? I honestly think he would be fine, but looking for second opinions

Yes, as long as he can sit up and pull things off him he is ok. I would put him in the warmest sleeper you have to keep him warm, bc he might kick off the blanket.

I’d just layer clothes. I feel like a kid that age wouldn’t actually keep the blanket on them all night long anyways. 
My kid is 2.5 and still doesn’t know how to keep a blanket on her all night.

If it’s a light blanket is it really going to help if it’s that cold in the house😬 is layer up on clothes under his sleeper too, but no I don’t think a month makes that much of a difference tbh.

That's fine my son has slept with a blanket since 5 m in my bed.

They typically won’t keep a blanket over them all night like adults or older kids do. I would layer long sleeve onesies and pants under a sleeper.

I used to let my son sleep in the bed with me til he was 18 months ? We used blankets but I was always careful when he was younger than that but after one he used my blankets . Now he sleeps in his own bed with baby blankets and my fuzzy blanket. He knows how to move them when he’s hot.

I have had a down blanket on my daughters bed since she was about 9 months. I made sure she was able to always push it off her, but she’s never had a problem. It depends on the child though. If he was able to get the blanket off then I’d say he’d be fine.
