My husband mother passed away when we was in high school. Now that we are expecting our first child he wants to honor his mother by giving our daughter his mothers middle name. I’m not against it I just don’t love it. I know I’m being selfish but his sister had a daughter as well and could have easily honored her mother. The truth is the name is horrible and I don’t like it at all and he is so adamant about keeping the middle name. How can I tell him I hate the name ? I don’t want to crush him.
