My poor dog max has been vomiting today , he's not his hyper active self we went out for his walks and to my surprise he wasn't pulling me as usuall he just walked very slowly by my side and all he's been wanting to do is be in front of my fan .. He hasn't ate anything today and wouldn't even go for his favorite treats .. He drank a little bit of water this afternoon .. He did get into some pastries my man left out the other night ..I'm
 wondering if that's what upset his belly?

Could be the pastries. Just make sure he keeps drinking water, that's most important. Keep an eye on him & if he still hasn't eaten by morning, call your vet. Just MAKE SURE he's HYDRATED.

Thanks lady's .. I just put a fresh bowl of water down and he went for a little bit .. Hopefully my tomorrow he'll eat something .. He's never ever been like this before.

That's definitely possible, especially if the pastries contained chocolate or something dogs shouldn't have. I'd call the vet in the morning and ask if you should bring him in.

He's been drinking his water and has ate a little today .. He hasn't vomited since yesterday around 6pm . i think he's feeling a bit better

Boil some white rice and when the water gets milky, drain the rice and try to get him to drink the water from it. It will help keep him from getting dehydrated and when my pups have sore tummies it soothes theirs. Also try giving him some unflavored yogurt for the probiotics.

If he doesn't want water, you can also try icechips... It definitely sounds like the pastries are to blame... If he is stiill vomiting after 24 hours, you may want to take him to the vet :/ hope your baby feels better soon!

About two months back my pup was sick...he was the same as yours, but he also had bloody stool. I took him to the emergency pet hospital and they didn't see anything wrong with him. They hydrated him, gave me some meds to help his tummy and I put him on a bland diet. Two days later he was fine! I like to think it was like the dog version of the 24 hour flu.

If my dog doesnt eat, he'll throw up bile. So if it's just yellow or white bile, then try giving him some rice with boiled chicken.

Yes his belly is probably upset!! If he doesn't eat or drink a bit more tom I'd definitely get him to the vet the following day!! As long as he gets his appetite back and is active you need not worry! Been through this before with my pup he ate a whole box of little Debbie's and wasn't right for 2 days!!! Good luck hope the pup gets better!!!

Pour a can of pumpkin purée in his bowl when he gets hungry he will have to eat and he will eat something that will help clean out his system.
