Cerclage Mommies ? 🥺

Am i The Only One In This Group That Got An Cerclage Placed ? I Never See Anyone Post About It , If So Can You Tell Me How Your Experience Is Going So I Know Im Not Alone 😓💙 .

I have one, was placed @13weeks due to incompetent cervix. This is my 3rd cerclage 4th pregnancy. My Dr. said after the fact that at this point it probably wasn’t needed but better to be safe than sorry. So for me this time feels much less stressful. My first with a cerclage was an emergency cerclage @21weeks and for the following two it has just happened almost routinely @13weeks. Do you already have yours placed? I felt it so much less stressful earlier. In my experience there’s been less pulling this time and my cervical length looks amazing this time around.

I might end up needing one, I don’t know yet. I feel like the progesterone suppositories aren’t gonna help cuz I can’t get them up by my cervix cuz it’s so high. I was just diagnosed with a short cervix this past Thursday and go back in 2 weeks for another scan. I don’t know if it’s going to be too late to get it or not. I’m really scared for my baby girl. I don’t want to lose her and want everything done to keep her in there until she’s ready. I’ve had way too much heartache over the last couple years with my multiple losses (all 1st trimester)

I don’t need one but my cousin had one! With her first she went into labor 2 or 3 times due to an incompetent cervix. She ended up delivering him at 26 weeks. He was really sick and in the nicu for a long time but he’s now a healthy 3 year old! So for her second she had a cerclage and she said the procedure went smoothly and was only sore a couple of days. Her pregnancy was healthy from there on out and she had no other problems! They did a scheduled c section at 36 weeks and baby was completely healthy and she was up a walking around with minimal pain from it that night!

I’m due 3rd aug. I had one put in at 16 weeks and I’m 23 weeks today :) 
My first baby was born at 24+4 and we lost him when he was 6 weeks old. I’ve then had 2 miscarriages.
There’s nothing to definitely say I have an incompetent cervix, but we agreed to have a stitch put in this pregnancy as a precaution :)so far so good!

I had one done at 15w4d because of a short cervix (1.6cm). At my checkup after 3 weeks it was 2.1. Still short but doctor seemed happy with it. They won’t keep monitoring because of the Coronavirus situation, which I find a bit scary. This is my first pregnancy
