Sunscreen?

Do you put sunscreen on your kids no matter what temp it is outside / weather it's sunny or not if they are going to be playing outside? My son is almost 2. Just curious what other moms do. It's almost 70 degrees today

We've been going out twice a day as a family, back yard play on the morning and a walk in the afternoon, and none of us are wearing sunscreen. Sunlight is good for you. We use it at the beach and pool because the water and sand reflect the rays back and increase exposure. Plus it's usually more direct sunlight. I would audio use it if we were going to be out for hours in high exposure, like the zoo or a theme park. But not for backyard play or walks

Sunscreen protects from the UV rays from the sun. It has nothing to do with temperature. So if it’s sunny outside, then always put sunscreen on.

Sun exposure is good for kids - most are vitamin d deficient because they are always covered in sunscreen. I would only put it on if exposure was going to be intense or longer than 30 min. Even then I’d like rather put long sleeves and a hat on then slather chemicals all over my baby.
