I haven’t posted anywhere so I thought I’d share here.

A couple days before our 10th year together he popped the question. He cooked me breakfast and made us dinner (steak, lobster, & homemade strawberry lemonade). He was trying so hard to get me out of the house but I was being stubborn and didn’t want to leave. Everything is closed due to the virus 🦠🙄 so I didn’t get where we would be going anyways.

I was in the living room watching Netflix when he asked me to go to the room and I walked in on him on his knee with all of this. I cried my eyes out.

He was trembling when I gave him a hug. He said he was worried that it wasn’t good enough because all of his original plans went down the drain once the city shut down. 😭

Later he explained he was trying to get me to leave because my parents were going to come in while we left to decorate the whole house with roses but this is what he had to resort to.
