The name Julian is not masculine?

My mom was asking about baby names so I told her we loved Julian for a boy. She said she hated it because is doesn’t sound masculine at all. What do you think? We’ve been pretty set on this name for a while.

Well its a traditional boys name! What would she consider a masculine name and why is that even important. Julians a nice name its your child defo use it! X

It’s a traditional boys name, but I don’t find it to be a tough/manly name. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad name for a boy. There are a lot of boys names that aren’t super “manly.” 
I like the name and I say go for it.

We have a Julian in our family and he goes by Jude. I think it’s a fine name and is traditionally for males. She already named her child(ren), name yours whatever you’d like!
