Home birth for first time momma
Hey there!
So we are expecting our first baby July 19, 2020. We don't know our baby's gender yet and are keeping it a surprise and we love the idea!
I am absolutely terrified of being in the hospital with COVID-19. That being said, if it is safest for baby and myself to be in the hospital/if I need a section, we will of course go. I have a midwife team and our original "plan" (not that I have an actual plan, aside from get this sweetie here healthy and safe) was to be at the hospital. Yesterday there was an out break of COVID-19 in the baby ward, at our hospital. so now.. I'm more nervous.
I've been researching home births for a few weeks now, and have a midwife app today. Just wondering if anyone has any tips, or things i should ask the midwife as this is our first, and during a pandemic..
love, fear and so many emotions,
any help or stories is appreciated!
