Announcing on Easter?

I was planning to announce to family and social media on Easter. But now with quarantine and the inability to see family I am not sure what to do. Does anyone have any ideas, or suggestions?

This is tough. We ended up calling everyone early because we knew we wouldn’t see them on Easter now. Are they all local? You could stuff Easter eggs with a message and leave them at front doors, ring the doorbell or knock and run back to your car and watch them open it? Or you could mail out little announcements that say don’t open until Easter?

This is my first pregnancy and we also were planning to announce at Easter. We now know we aren’t going to be able to do it in person and I don’t want to wait any longer. We’ll be doing a video call with my parents tonight and probably will do the same with my husband’s family. I’m trying to take the perspective that if these are the worst complications we have with my pregnancy, we are lucky in the big picture.
