My boyfriend smashed his middle finger at work and it’s bleeding and he says he thinks he’s going to lose the finger nail. 
He has it wrapped. I’ve been googling things and it says online to not wrap it because he could lose blood to his finger ? But it’s bleeding ? 
What should he do? Idk if he’s going to see a doctor

Go see a doctor if he is worried. We cannot legally give you medical advice on here. Also, wrapping things too tightly does constrict blood flow to the area which causes tissue death.

Loosely wrap it. Dont wrap it super right. It wont cut off bloodflow. The fingernails probobly gonna come off. But it will grow back

Not a medical professional but I am a runner. So, I’ve lost many toenails. Wrap lightly with sterile gauze . Do not use glue, tape, etc. to try and stick it back on. Wash gently with soap and warm water when it gets dirty. If it does fall off, it will grow back.
