Shout out to my fellow moms here who aren’t mom shaming the shit out of this! We gotta do what we gotta do some days. I work for my states Department of Health and Human Services and I’m being SLAMMED with work that I have to do at home now. If it wasn’t for my main man Mickey Mouse right now, I don’t know if I’d survive.

My husband and I are both full-time WFH right now in an apartment so this is the only way we get anything done. We put it on the computer otherwise she gets insanely close to the TV, trying to avoid turning it on as much as possible but not feeling guilty when we have to.

I mean we always have the tv on for background noise. She usually just dances to the songs of a handful of shows like Doc McStuffins or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, then she will continue playing in the corner. We’ve also got a couple of go to movies that really help calm her down on those difficult days. Usually Moana or The Good Dinosaur. We probably pull those out once a week. Otherwise she’s in her own little world most of the time until she hears music lol.

I’m not sure how’d you’d define a lot. For US it’s a lot but it’s less than 30 minutes a day and some days none at all. With my first I kept to no screen time age 2 but...COVID rules are different 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband and I are both laid off from work right now so we’re advantage of the “free” time and getting some major house projects done. She’s definitely getting more screen time just because of that...and especially when it’s cold/rainy and we can’t be playing outside. 
She likes Hello Ninja on Netflix and about the first 15 minutes of Secret Life of Pets 2 😂...for real she complains until we start the movie over again.
