Acidic poop ?

So every time my 11 month old poops and we don’t catch it right on time and we change her 5-10 min after her butt is literally bright red ( almost like a burn ) . I treat it with diaper rash cream and healing ointment and it gets better after like a day or so . I switched from breast feeding to similac full time about a month ago and it seems that’s when it started . Has anyone ever experienced this and any ideas why it could be happening ?

This happens to my 10 month old when she has too much dairy products or yogurt and poops. She had been eating yogurt and every time she’d poop after, she would get a bad rash. So I stopped giving yogurt. Then I noticed it after she’d have any kind of food with dairy in it. I plan on asking her doctor tomorrow when I call because it happened again today so I am going to stop giving her dairy for right now until I figure out what’s wrong. I heard this can start happening between 9-12 months, not sure what’s the cause or why it’s happening all of the sudden.

My son is 18 mo and this happens when he eats certain foods and poops a lot. Like corn, specifically!

It sounds like a chemical rash from diapers... did u switch brands ? Try one that is more natural bc diapers are loaded with chemicals 😫

Dont wait to change her. Changer her every time she poops or every hour
