37 weeks 1cm dilated

At my check up my doctor told me i was 1cm dilated and 60% effaced (meaning my cervix was thinned about 60%) i was also told that she felt the baby’s head with her finger when checking my cervix . I’m a first time mom and I’m just curious is it normal to go full term with these things happening or am i likely to give birth early
