Is your baby still as active as usual?

I'm 38 weeks and he's still moving just as much as he always has. I feel his head moving into my cervix, have been for a few weeks. But his movement hasn't slowed down. Is that normal? I always thought they slowed down, I know my other 2 did.

Just wanted to add my experience. I was 38 and 2 and I felt a little off all day and could feel the baby move but her movements seemed less strong. She passed a kick count just fine but something seemed a little different. Called my dr and she said to go in to get an nst done. I went in thinking I was being dumb and they discovered my fluid dropped significantly to a 4 and they induced me that night. It was a crazy experience and I’m glad I listened to myself.

my first slowed down a few weeks before labor and I've noticed with this baby his movement has slowed down as well so I'm hoping labor is close

I’m 38w too, and most days baby girl is still moving around and sticking out her butt as usual lol. But maybe once a week or once every 2 weeks, I feel like she doesn’t move as much... I get really nervous but she still does move at least 10x within a span of a few hours.

Babies don’t move less or slow down. If they do it’s usually a sign of distress. You should feel baby exactly as normal right up to and during labour x

I’ve noticed different movements as he has much less room for those huuuuuge dynamic moves. But it’s still often. I just have to be more mindful of them, they’re not always dramatic like they were a month or 2 ago.
