They dont usually HURT its definitely a lot of pressure and it feels really weird lol if your body is ready, it will work fast if your body isnt, it will help prepare your cervix. You'll cramp a little and maybe spot. I don't see very many cons to it. It's worth a try. With my son I had him 4 hours later and with my daughter it softened my cervix really well

I had one done on Monday and it didn’t hurt for me. I felt pressure but no pain. I think it depends on who does it and how hard they do it. However I don’t think mine worked because I’m still pregnant 😂 I’m 40 weeks tomorrow (Friday). I was told they would schedule induction if he doesn’t come by Friday.
