Baby powder?

Does anyone still use baby powder?

We only use it for rashes. When my kids have rashes I switch between cream and powder at every change 🤷🏽‍♀️

Why do people use baby powder? (Not trying to be rude I just generally don't understand why its used on a baby?)

I only use baby powder on my baby for his diapers and he’s never had a diaper rash. I make sure not to point it towards his face so he doesn’t breath it in and only put a puff or two. My sister is a nurse and they always taught them if it’s wet make it dry, if it’s dry make it wet. When she had her daughter she only used baby powder and never had a diaper rash. My other sister has 3 kids now and did the same. They’ve never had rashes either.

It's used to get rid of moisture. I will use under baby's fat rolls because it collects moisture and ends up turning red and the crease in the rolls end up cutting through. But this is not often because I read it's not good for babies to breathe it in. So if I do I'm very very careful and only put very little, first on my fingers and blow the residual away then wipe on baby. 
It must be talc free! I don't use Johnson, because of the whole cancer
Lawsuit, so I bought Burt's and bees dusting powder.
