I’m a responsible college student who is back home due to quarantine. I taught myself safe sex education because my parents never allowed anything to do with that matter. In college I was used to being ...well an adult. Feeding myself, working my part time, and studying. I have a boyfriend now and we are active sexually. It makes me mad that my mom shut shamed me.

Should she? No. But parents are always put off by their kids having sex and being blatant about it. 
I hate hickeys so I've never had one and my neck was irritated from something the other day and my mom freaked out. I've been with my boyfriend 4 years, in the process of buying a condo, and I'm graduating nursing school next month. That's how parents are lol

Should she be mad about it?  No, not really. Hickies are gross if I'm being honest, so if my daughter came home with a visable hickey,I'd be grossed out and I'd let her know.  
Frankly, I find it irresponsible because now you're walking around with an advertising mark on your body for family, friends, colleagues to see. Not to mention random strangers who might form their own opinions
