Right when my son turned 2 I told his DR I was worried he wasn’t talking enough. He also said a lot of words but wasn’t putting them together. 6 months or less later he was talking way more and putting words together. Now he will be 3 this month and says anything and everything. Full conversations. It’s crazy how much his speech changed in less than a year.

My son is the same, we just started him in speech therapy. My oldest son also has a speech delay so I wanted to start therapy earlier than waiting it out to see if it corrected its self.

My daughter is 2 in May, she can say about 20 words clearly, she talks all the time but doesn’t really say anything that makes sense when she’s just “chatting” but she can put two words together, and does quiet well when singing nursery rhymes at pronouncing the words. I’m not worried at this point she fully understands what we say to her 90% of the time, and I understand her enough to not be worried. Every child learns at their own pace.

Oh man he talks up a storm! I can have conversations w him, but most 2yr olds I've met don't talk as much..
