My little boy doesn’t talk still. Do I need to be worried about it???

Initially he used to say car and two other words continuously even thats not been said . He just shouts (i feel he does it cuz he is wanting to speak). i did consult an ENT specialist and his pediatrician.. everything seems to be ok ( Thanks to God).. his pediatrician said that I need to be worried about this after my little one reaches 2 years.. but I’m wanting to know what can be done to help him speak
