Irregular period

My daughter will be one next Friday. I just got my period for the first time last month at the beginning of the month. I had cramps for a few days before I started bleeding. My period was very similar to how it had been before getting pregnant.

However, this month I’ve had no cramping and no signs of my period coming.

We always use condoms, except for once (and I’m guessing it was during ovulation or close to) oops..

I’m wondering if it’s normal to have a period come back and then skip a month. Or be late. While you’re breastfeeding?
