Cradle cap?

How did you mommas get rid of your baby’s cradle cap? My baby is 2 mos and his scalp looks super dry I’m worried it bothers him or something

I let coconut oil sit in his hair for about 5 or so hours and put a beanie in there. When it was time for his bath I used his regular shampoo (Shea Moisture) to wash it out. Used the fridababy cradle cap brush and used that with the mustela cradle cap shampoo then after his bath, I put coconut oil back on his hair. Repeated this everyday (would only wash his hair if it wasn't a bath day). Might seem like alot but it cleared up in a week. Plus it made his hair super soft ! Hope this helps

So my baby’s is so bad he had to be referred to a dermotologist but they didn’t help much either. What I noticed helped was making a cup of chamomile tea and soaking a beanie in it and then putting the beanie on his head for 5-10 minutes. This helps relieve the itch and it also helps loosen some of the flakes. On top of this I also use steroid cream once a day on his head (per recommendation by his pediatrician), and then wash his head every night after soaking with coconut oil. We scrub his head with a cradle cap brush and then comb it out after his bath. 2-3x a week we use head and shoulders. It was BAD but it’s gotten so much better. Here’s a before and after 👍🏼

I used coconut oil 30 minutes before a bath and then after the bath I gently combed the baby’s hair, sooo much of it came out and it didn’t bother the baby at all!!!

My pediatrician said baby oil! I had previously been putting lotion on it everyday and it didn’t seem to help, but I’m on day 5 of baby oil now and it’s helped tremendously!! 🙂

We started using this during bath time on my little one right when her cradle cap started. Her cradle cap is completely gone now and it cleared up pretty quickly! I definitely think this helped get the dry skin off!

I use mustela baby cradle cap shampoo and the Frida baby cradle cap brush set. It was gone within a week, I bathe here every other day.

Baby oil and a fine tooth baby comb. 
In the bath put baby oil on her dry hair. Massage it in and let the flakes get saturated then use the fine tooth comb to pull out the flakes on top. Be careful not to poke scalp or over brush one area. Almost all the flakes will come off just keep cleaning brush on a napkin when it gets full (gross I know lol) 
Then shampoo and rinse, babies hair might still be oily after thats okay! They need that extra moisture rn & I like it better then letting them sleep with oil in there hair and getting it everywhere.

I used shea butter, let it soak in and then gently scrub with wet wash cloth. I’ve also heard nipple cream works well.
