When to announce pregnancy to work while working from home?

I’ve been trying to decide when to announce my pregnancy to work. I’m due Oct 12. Not showing yet, and due to C-19 I’m working from home for at least a month or two, so no real reason I need to announce it yet. I haven’t posted on social media so it’s not out for anyone to see. Anyone else on the fence about how soon to announce to work? Curious to know your thoughts!

I’m not telling my boss until at least 15 weeks. I’m also working from home until at least May, maybe June so I’m in no rush.

I told my boss very early on. She is also pregnant and I had some concerns early on so she was a safe person for me. However I’ve been working from home for 4 weeks now, with no end in sight. I have a small team I work with and we have weekly video meetings so I ended up announcing last week (13 weeks) and every was so excited and happy for me and said it was some good news to hear for a change. Hope you get a chance to announce soon!

I told my boss before it all went down and am friend with a lot of co workers on Facebook I fig word will spread after the announcement haha

I am wondering about this too! Part of me wants to delay because I’ve just started a new job and I know my boss will be annoyed. But I guess he is going to be just as annoyed in a month or two, so maybe I should get it over with 🤷‍♀️

I told my work colleagues at the beginning of the c-19 thing. They were all really happy with the news :)

I’m due October 18th. I already told my 2 main bosses (there was a time crunch that affected this) and I’m announcing on Facebook Easter Day so I sent an email announcement yesterday! I said something like “we wanted to share this news with you all in person but #socialdistancing... so here it is!” And send the pic we’re posting on Facebook

My fiancé and I was ready to announce so I told my principal before we announced on social media so she could hear it from me first. She was happy for me and it gives them A LOT of time to plan for my maternity leave in October.
