40 weeks /irregular and painful contractions

I’m 40 weeks today. I have been having irregular contractions all day day and since about 9pm (it’s midnight now) I have been having them more frequently but irregular still. They are SO painful, and sometimes take my breath away. Also going to the bathroom hurts so badly now because of the pelvic pressure. I was experiencing this 3 nights ago and went into L&D and they sent me home because of the irregular contractions and only being 2cm dilated. I have tried different positions and walking and all that, nothing seems to change the contraction intensity. Anyone else experiencing this or have before?? I’m not sure what do to anymore. My induction is scheduled for Tuesday and I don’t know if I’ll make it.

*side note. When I say irregular I mean sometimes contractions are 7 minutes apart and some times they are less than 5 minutes apart. They have been like this before but eventually fade away. They haven’t really faded yet though and it’s 2:30AM. I tired a warm bath too and it didn’t help 😭😭😭
